2006 Financing Awards

Winners of The Inaugural Middle Market Financing Awards Named at Chicago Gala

Top Deals and Professionals Honored for Financing Excellence

Chicago, June 20, 2006 – In front of a sold-out crowd of financing professionals, The M&A Advisor announced the winners of The Inaugural Middle Market Financing Awards, chosen from 73 finalists in 13 different categories. The Awards are a tribute to outstanding achievements in the middle market financing industry in 2005 and 2006. The winners were announced at a formal awards dinner at the close of The M&A Advisor’s 15th Annual Conference on Tuesday, June 20 at The Drake Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. Master of Ceremonies Rick Santelli of CNBC announced the winners “Academy-Award”-style amid jubilant celebrations and heartfelt acceptance speeches from the recipients.

“The enthusiasm displayed by the firms which nominated these transactions tells us that these financing professionals are aware of the impact their activities have in the marketplace. The fact that our very first Awards Dinner was attended by over 250 people underscores our feeling that the participants in the middle market financing industry know how vital it is to the overall health of the economy,” says Roger Aguinaldo, Publisher and CEO of The M&A Advisor.
