International Recognition of excellence in M&A, Financing and Turnarounds

The M&A Advisor was the first organization to recognize achievements of middle-market M&A professionals and firms mostly within the United States. Building upon the stellar success of the tradition and in recognition of the increasing volume of M&A and Finance activity in other parts of the world, The M&A Advisor launched its Global M&A Advisor Awards in the summer of 2009 to recognize international deals, dealmakers and firms.

The Global M&A Advisor Awards recognizes excellence in 93 unique categories in M&A, Financing and Turnaround transactions across 7 different geographic regions.
The Global M&A Advisor Awards are divided into 3 groups:

• M&A (26 categories)
• Financing (33 categories)
• Turnarounds (34 categories)

There’s a separate nomination form for each group and nominees will be required to select which region their transaction and/or firm fall under.
The 7 different regions to choose from are as follows:

• Americas - North and South America; Central America and Caribbean countries
• Oceania - Australia; New Zealand and surrounding states
• Middle-East
• Asia - East Asia; South East Asia; South Asia and Central Asia
• Africa
• Western Europe
• Eastern Europe

There were 94 finalists for the industry’s first annual Global M&A Advisor Awards and 51 finalists for the fourth annual U.S. Middle-Market Financing Awards.
