- Chris Burnham is an associate with FMI, management consultants and investment bankers to the construction industry. As a member of the investment banking group, Chris works with construction industry firms, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, and ownership transfer advisory.
Prior to joining FMI, Chris worked in equity research for FBR Capital Markets, a regional investment bank based in Arlington, Virginia, covering Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). In this role, his primary responsibilities included financial modeling, forecasting, valuation and market studies of small and mid-cap companies in the office sector. Prior to his work with FBR, Chris worked for BB&T as a corporate banking associate, where he provided banking services including acquisition and recapitalization financing to a wide variety of middle market firms.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University and a Masters of Science in Finance from Lancaster University (UK). He graduated with high honors from both institutions. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Washington Society of Investment Analysts.
