Merger Integration - Help! We're Being Mergerized!

Posted on July 1, 2011 at 5:12pm 0 Comments

The fact is, mergers and acquisitions are one route to corporate growth. And there is a common set of “growing pains” brought about by mergers. When you see these problems developing, you should not take that as clear evidence that the merger is being mishandled by people at the top.

These are predictable problems. They can be found in practically every…

Beware of the merger integration do-gooders!!

Chances are you have a few of these people scattered across the management ranks.  I’m talking about soft-hearted managers, those misguided souls who seem to think you can run an effective merger integration without upsetting anyone.  These are the folks who would sacrifice integration success in…

Hi,

I am a private investment banker in Israel, with deep connections with the major local companies looking for $10 - $100 exit range.
I would like to know if you have an official representative in Israel which is very active in the M&A Scene?

Currently I'm closing "representation deals" with top companies who would like an office represent in Israel.

The major benefit of working with me locally is that I conduct closed dinner M&A meetings in Israel for the largest corporate investors which on every meeting they get a teasing presentation from 1 or more companies I represent.

Contact me privately to get to know each other better,
Best Regards,
Doron Sanders
Tel Aviv,
Israel.

Mr. Pritchett,
Our firm specializes in post acquisition integration, specifically by:

-Helping companies realize the goals of their M&A strategy by following through with integration execution.
-Creating customized, flexible and scalable integration playbooks.
-Creating detailed operational and functional integration plans with tools, templates and reports to support execution.
-Training and help operationalize an Integration Management Offices (IMO) for our clients.

We just finished an engagement with a large Japanese trading company that included the above items, and I didn't know whether it made sense to compare notes at some point for networking or other professional purposes.
I also have spoken to Jim Jeffries in the past regarding the Cockpit automation tool as fyi.

Thank you,

Scott Whitaker (770) 933-6279
