Mr. Clark joined Canaccord Genuity in 2010 to serve as U.S. Head of Consumer Investment Banking. Prior to Canaccord Mr. Clark was head of Presidio’s Consumer, Food & Retail group.  Mr. Clark has held positions at Piper Jaffray & Co., where he established and led the Consumer Products effort and advised and executed on a broad range of Consumer M&A transactions, and at Lehman Brothers Inc., where he worked in the Global M&A and Consumer / Retail groups advising companies in the retail, apparel and footwear sectors.  Prior to that he worked at Thomas Weisel Partners LLC and Montgomery Securities for over seven years in both Consumer and Merger & Acquisitions. Mr. Clark’s transaction experience includes a wide variety of strategic and financial advisory assignments including, buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, public offerings and private placements.  He has been involved in over $60 billion in M&A and financing transactions in consumer and other industries, including consumer and branded products, food, hardlines and softlines retail, apparel, footwear, lodging, business services and education.  He has also completed a number of significant transactions in the technology sector.  Selected clients include Green Mountain Coffee, Chefs' Warehouse, LSG Sky Chefs, Kmart Corporation, Bare Escentuals, Ulta Salon & Cosmetics, Physicians Formula, Gilchrist & Soames, Golf Galaxy, Everlast Worldwide, Joe’s Jeans, Blu Dot, Department 56, Dave & Busters, Tehama, Car Toys, Bell Sports, CorporateFamily Solutions, Nebraska Book Company, Spherion, Rex Stores Corp., Maxwell Shoe Company, Almod Diamonds International, Rent-Way, Polycom, SDL Inc., Splash Technology, Sanmina-SCI Corp., Merix Corp., and GTSI Corp. Mr. Clark graduated from the University of Washington and received an M.B.A., with Honors distinction, from Columbia Business School.  He serves on the Board of Directors of Mammography Reporting System.
